Clerical

Position: Accounting Technition Entry - EMS

Location: Lufkin, TX

Hours: Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm

Summary:

Performs general accounting duties such as answering the phone, taking and posting payments to patient accounts, insurance verification, record requests. May be required to assist in the billing process which includes coding and submitting claims electronically or using paper claim forms and perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Three years medical billing/coding experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Insurance billing and verification experience preferred (Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, Replacement plans and Commercial plans will be beneficial)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Valid Texas Driver’s License
