Full Time Maintenance Technician

There is an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Maintenance Technician at a local Lubricant Plant.  You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be detail oriented.

You will:

•Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plant machinery including packaging and material handling equipment.

•Will train during 1st shift, should be open for 2nd shift schedule when required.

•Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Basic Qualifications: (required)

•2 plus years of vocational/technical school training in production maintenance/mechanics with heavy emphasis on electronics repair

•5 plus years of experience in repair and preventive maintenance of plant machinery including packaging and material handling equipment

•Must be able to work 2nd shift

•Maintain, troubleshoot and support packaging operations.

Experience working with:

â—¦Pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical controls including PLC’s.

â—¦Plumbing

â—¦Steam fitting

â—¦Welding (not a must, will train)

Preferred Qualifications: (desired)

•Boilers license

•Steam fitting
