Human Resources Manager
Partners with management and identifies processes to align HR policies, procedures, and programs with company goals, objectives, and operating principles.
Communicates the companies policy, philosophy and provides guidance to employees.
Partners with managers in appropriately resolving employee relation issues. Conducts employee investigations as appropriate.
Administers company‘s Leave of Absence programs; including completing required documentation and tracking.
Handles all unemployment claims from time of receipt until closed.
Administers the company‘s performance management program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
Maintains the HR metrics to be utilized in strategic planning and effectiveness of HR Related programs & processes.
Processes Worker‘s Compensation claims, assists management in accident investigations, claims management and return to work programs.
Enters and ensures the employee‘s life-cycle transactions for all employees are processed in HRIS in a timely and accurate manner
Maintains working relationships with union officials, adheres to contracts and participates in contract negotiations as appropriate. Maintains company‘s union avoidance program for all non-union locations / positions.
Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
Maintains employee records, reports and assists with updating organizational charts.
Education: Bachelor‘s degree and 5 years HR Experience, or a Master‘s degree in HR Management and 3 years HR experience
Licenses/Certifications: PHR or SPHR certification required
